You may have spotted that some work has been happening in the Charles Morris Hall car park. As previously reported investigations into a suspected water leak had occurred, following this investigation it was clear that there was a water leak between the stopcock and the Hall.
The Charles Morris Hall Management Committee took the decision to replace the water pipe. A mole (mechanical not the mammal) was brought in and bored its way between the Hall and the stopcock, the new pipe is now in place and supplying water to the Hall. Remedial work on the car park should begin shortly.
